Neodym magnets are presently the strongest existing permanent magnets. They are a multiple stronger than normal ferrit magnets you use in household or in the office.
The extremely high adhesive force with at the same time small dimensions make them to ideal utilities for fastening containers or references at magnetizable undergrounds as sheet metal or steel.
WARNING: Neodym magnets are no toy. Due to the large forces it can effect squeezings or other injuries. The magnets are not suitable for child hands therefore.
